Innovations in traffic congestion relief, safety, updating of existing infrastructure, and the reliability of roadway systems is being jointly implemented by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and the City of Dallas. The City is fully participating in a number of initiatives that are part of the Trinity River Corridor Project including: new bridge infrastructure, roadway renovations, the Trinity Parkway, and new accesses and connections into the Dallas Floodway, the Great Trinity Forest and other areas throughout the 10,000 acres of the project.
