Trinty Fields

The Trinity Fields region in Dallas forms a beautiful and diverse recreational area destined for the enjoyment of different types of sports and nature enthusiasts. Along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, this area is the perfect showcase for an athletic complex to support the growing interest in soccer and other ball sports in North Texas, a system of trails and other park amenities. The focus will once again be on the Trinity River and its surrounding landscape as an important resource.

Located west of IH-35E on Walnut Hill Lane, Phase I of the Elm Fork Athletic Complex and Trails will be complete late in 2013. The land and complex will feature:

  • Proposed woodland planting
  • Proposed riparian planting
  • Bioswale
  • Eleven athletic fields
  • Soft surface trails system
  • Boardwalks and bird overlook

The dirt is flying! News from the construction site for the athletic fields is exciting as the construction has progressed and you can match up the fields to the rendering above. Work will continue in 2012 to build this amazing new sports complex in the Trinity River corridor.
